Web 2.0 video: The Machine is Us/ing Us
The Digital Ethnography group from Kansas State University has posted a YouTube video explaining and provoking thought about Web 2.0. This excellent video is being widely discussed and talked about. It came to my attention through Blawg, a collection of legal blogs, podcasts and news by Bill Gratsch.
Not only is this an informative piece about current technologies, it is a very interesting experiment in the power of social networking. It was posted on YouTube on February 7 and when I became aware of it on February 8, the statistics that YouTube provides said the following:
Views: 448,078 Comments: 1689 Favorited: 6564 times
Imagine nearly half a million people being aware of what you have to say less than a week after you say it.
